Definition
Pastil, genellikle boğaz ağrısı veya öksürüğü hafifletmek için ağızda yavaşça eriyen küçük ve ilaçlı şekerlerdir.

Genellikle eczanelerde ve sağlıkta kullanılır; sıradan şekerlerden farklıdır. 'Boğaz pastili' ifadesi yaygın. 'Pastil' emilerek çözünür, 'tablet' yutulur.
