誰かや何かを特定の方法で見ること、特定の性質や役割があると見なすこと。

ややフォーマルまたは中立的な表現。'as' の後に役割や特徴を続けて使用される：'look on him as a mentor.' 'look at'（見る）や 'look on'（傍観する）と混同しないこと。
