주변을 살펴보거나 장소를 둘러보며 어떤 것이 있는지 알아보는 것.

'look around'는 비공식적으로 자주 쓰이며, 새로운 장소를 구경하거나 상점에서 둘러볼 때 사용함. 'look for'와 달리 적극적으로 찾는 의미는 아님. 'just look around'는 '그냥 둘러볼게요'라는 뜻.

We looked around the park to find a good place to sit.
