見回す見て回る

Definition

周囲を見たり、場所を見て回ったりして、何があるか確認したり探したりすること。

カジュアルな場面で使われる。「look for」は積極的に探す意味なので異なる。「just look around」は「見るだけ」や「下見する」場合によく使う。

We looked around the park to find a good place to sit.

私たちは座るのに良い場所を見つけるために公園を**見回しました**。
