En la mayoría de los contextos, «little hand» se refiere a la manecilla corta de un reloj analógico. Menos comúnmente, puede significar una mano pequeña, especialmente de un niño.

'Little hand' se utiliza principalmente al enseñar a los niños la hora ('the little hand points to…'). Para describir una mano pequeña, es raro y muy literal. Siempre se menciona junto a 'big hand' al hablar del reloj. No se dice 'short hand'.
