イギリス人（特に船乗り）を指す、今は古くて時に侮辱的な俗語。もともとはイギリスの船員が壊血病予防にライムを食べていたことに由来。

「ライミー」は今はあまり使わず、人によっては侮辱的と受け取られることがあります。特にアメリカ英語や昔の文学・ジョークで見かけます。公的・中立な場では使わないようにしましょう。
