Definition

একটি ভাষায় ব্যবহৃত শব্দ ও শব্দগুচ্ছসমূহের সংকলন, অথবা কোনো ব্যক্তি বা গোষ্ঠীর ব্যবহৃত সব শব্দ।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'Lexicon' সাধারণত ভাষাবিজ্ঞান, সাহিত্য, বা একাডেমিক প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়। এটা 'dictionary' (শব্দের অর্থের বই) নয়, বরং শব্দসমষ্টি বোঝায়; যেমন 'the English lexicon', 'a technical lexicon'।
