অফিস বা দৈনন্দিন জীবনে ছোটখাটো সমস্যা নিয়ে বাদানুবাদ এড়াতে ব্যবহার হয়। 'let it slide' একবারের জন্য, 'let things slide' বারবারের জন্য বলা হয়।
