Definition

무언가(주로 돈)을 잠시 동안 빌려주고, 나중에 돌려받길 기대하는 것. 'lend to' 뒤에 대여 받는 사람이 온다.

항상 받는 사람 뒤에 옴('lend to my friend'). 'borrow from'과 혼동하지 마세요. 돈이 많으나 다른 것에도 씀. 격식: 중립. 일상에서는 상황이 명확하면 'lend'만 쓰기도 함.
