একটি উঁচু, ঢালু-টপযুক্ত স্ট্যান্ড যেখানে বক্তা বা শিক্ষক তাদের নোট, বই, বা স্ক্রিপ্ট রেখে সহজে পড়তে বা বক্তব্য রাখতে পারেন।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

সাধারণত আনুষ্ঠানিক, শিক্ষাগত বা ধর্মীয় পরিবেশে ব্যবহার হয়; 'lectern'-এ দাঁড়ানো বা কথা বলা মানে সামনে দাঁড়ানো। 'Podium' মানে কোথাও উঠে দাঁড়ানো, দুইটা শব্দ বিভ্রান্তিকর হতে পারে।
