部屋から外に出ること、今いる場所から退出すること。

フォーマル・カジュアルどちらでも使える一般的な表現です。「Please leave the room.」のような指示文にも使われます。一時的にも永久的にも退出を指します。'leave room'（空間を空ける）とは異なります。
