化粧室やトイレは、手を洗うための洗面台付きの部屋や区画で、空港や飛行機、オフィスなどの公共の場所によくあります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「化粧室」や「トイレ」として案内表示などでよく使われますが、日常会話では「トイレ」の方が一般的です。公共施設や飛行機には「Lavatory」と書かれていることもあります。
