Definition

साबुन और पानी से बनी छोटी-छोटी बुलबुले वाली झाग; सफाई करते समय झाग बनाना भी। संज्ञा या क्रिया दोनों हो सकता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

मुख्य रूप से साबुन या शेविंग क्रीम की झाग के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है। 'lather up' बोलचाल में आम है। पेय या व्यक्तिगत बुलबुलों के लिए 'foame' या 'bubble' का उपयोग न करें।
