landsman वह है जो जमीन पर रहता है और समुद्र से अपरिचित है, या एक नया नाविक जिसे समुद्र का अनुभव नहीं है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

“landsman” आजकल बहुत कम उपयोग होता है, मुख्यतः ऐतिहासिक या नौकायन संदर्भों में। इसका अर्थ समुद्र से अनजान व्यक्ति या नया नाविक दोनों हो सकता है। यहूदी समुदायों में कभी कभी 'हमवतन' के लिए भी प्रयोग होता है। इसे 'भूमिपति' से न मिलाएँ।
