靴やブーツの紐を通して結ぶこと。また、スポーツなどを始める前に準備として靴を履く意味でも使われます。

主にカジュアルな場面で使う。靴ひも、ブーツ、スケート靴などに使われる。スポーツの前の準備でも使うが、面ファスナーやスリッポンタイプには使わない。
