二つ以上のものを並べて配置し、その違いや類似点を際立たせること。美術や文学などでよく使われる表現です。

やや堅い表現で、主に芸術や文学、分析で使われます。日常の物に対してはあまり使いません。例：'the juxtaposition of colors', 'juxtaposition creates contrast'。
