ものを混ぜてバラバラにしたり、順番をめちゃくちゃにすること。または、わかりにくくすること。

書類や考えなどがバラバラになる場合によく使い、『ごちゃごちゃにする』はくだけた言い方です。『jumble up』は物理的にも抽象的にも使えます。
