अमूमन बोलचाल में प्रयोग होता है; जब चीजें अव्यवस्थित होकर मिल जाती हैं। यह खाना बनाने वाली 'mix' की तरह नहीं है। विचार या शब्दों के लिए भी इस्तेमाल होता है।
