法官是指在法庭上作出判決的人，也可以指對某事或某人形成看法或決定。

既可作名詞（“judge”指法官），也可作動詞（“judge”指判斷）。法律中很正式，日常也常用於“不要隨便評論我”等情境。常見短語有“judge a book by its cover”（以貌取人）。注意“judge”本身中性，但“judgmental”帶有負面意思。
