中国や東アジアの宗教で神様を表し、礼拝の対象となる像や彫像のこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

仏像や神像は、寺院や神殿など東アジアの宗教的場面で使います。「joss stick」はお線香のこと。西洋の宗教像には使いません。
