ハラペーニョはメキシコやテックスメックス料理によく使われる、中くらいの大きさで辛い青唐辛子です。

'ハラペーニョ'はスペイン語由来の言葉で、英語では「ハラペーニョ」と発音します。緑色が一般的ですが、熟すと赤くなります。ピザやナチョス、サルサのトッピングとしてよく使われます。
