初めて人や物を他の人に説明したり、新しい話題・アイデア・製品などを紹介すること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

フォーマルや中立的な場面で多く使われる。「人を紹介する」や「新しい話題・製品を紹介する」に使い、プレゼントをあげる意味では使わない。
