何かを特定の意味や意図として理解したり説明したりすること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にフォーマルや学術、分析の場で使われ、『translate』のように言語を訳す意味では使わない。'interpret as warning'のように特定の意図や意味を読み取る時によく使う。
