यह औपचारिक या अर्द्ध-औपचारिक है, अक्सर व्यावसायिक या कानूनी भाषा में। सही संरचना है: 'inform someone of something', 'inform about' नहीं। प्रायः passive voice में: 'You will be informed of...'।
