Definition

বেসবল বা সফটবলে, ইনফিল্ড হলো ঘর, বেস ও প্লেটের কাছাকাছি মাঠের অংশ। কিছু খেলায়, মাঠ বা ট্র্যাকের ভেতরের অংশকেও বোঝাতে পারে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'ইনফিল্ড' বেসবল ও সফটবলে সবচেয়ে বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং এখানে খেলোয়াড়দেরকেও বোঝাতে পারে ('the infield'). 'Outfield' মানে মাঠের বাইরের অংশ। সাধারণ খেলায় খুব কম ব্যবহৃত হয়।
