「インファンタ」とは、スペインまたはポルトガル国王の娘で、通常は王位継承者ではない王女に与えられる称号です。

主に歴史的・公式な場面で使われる語で、日常会話ではほとんど使いません。「スペインのインファンタ」など、主にスペインやポルトガル王室関連で登場します。
