犯罪の容疑者に対して正式に起訴するための書類で、主に大陪審によって出されます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

法律やニュースの文脈で使われます。正式な刑事訴追の場合のみ用いられ、民事事件やただの疑いには使いません。米国法で主に見られる表現です。
