侵入とは、主に軍事的な目的や攻撃のために、場所に突然または短時間だけ入ることを指します。しばしば敵意のある行動や不正な立ち入りについて使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

一般的にフォーマルで、ニュースや軍事、公式文脈で使われます。強制的または歓迎されない侵入に使われ、日常的な行動には使いません。「military incursion」「border incursion」などの表現が多いです。「excursion」（遠足）と混同しないよう注意。
