物事や話の内容がまったく理解できない状態や、把握できないこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「理解不能」はフォーマルな表現で、何も理解できていない状態に使います。「misunderstanding」（誤解）とは異なり、誤った理解ではなく、まったく分かっていない場合に使います。
