누군가가 다른 사람과 연락하거나 소통할 수 없게 된 상태를 말합니다. 주로 구금되었거나 격리된 경우 사용됩니다.

주로 법적, 경찰적 맥락에서 많이 쓰지만, 일상에서 농담으로도 사용됩니다. 오로지 사람에게만 씁니다.
