何かをしやすい、または特定の行動や考え方に自然と傾くこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主にフォーマルな場面で使われ、後ろに動詞の基本形が続きます。やや控えめなニュアンスです。「likely to」とは異なり、強い確信を示しません。
