Bir şeyi yapmak istemek ya da uygun bir ruh halinde olmak anlamına gelir.

Gündelik ve samimi konuşmalarda yaygındır. 'Bir şey yapma havasında olmak', 'modunda olmamak' şeklinde geçer. Zorunlu işlerde kullanılmaz.

I'm not in the mood to go out tonight.

Bu gece dışarı çıkma **modunda değilim**.
