"in the mood" in Bengali

Definition

কিছু করতে মন চাইলে বা বিশেষ কাজের জন্য মানসিকভাবে প্রস্তুত থাকলে বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। সাধারণত ইচ্ছা প্রকাশ করতে বলা হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

আলোচনার সময়, বিশেষত কথোপকথনে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'in the mood for কিছু' বা 'in the mood to verb' আকারে বেশি প্রচলিত। চাপ বা বাধ্যতামূলক কাজের জন্য ব্যবহার হয় না।

Examples

I'm not in the mood to go out tonight.

আজ রাতে বাইরে যেতে **মুডে নেই**।

Are you in the mood for some ice cream?

তুমি কি একটু আইসক্রিম খেতে **মুডে আছো**?

She is never in the mood to clean her room.

সে কখনই তার ঘর পরিষ্কার করতে **মুডে থাকে না**।

I'm finally in the mood to watch that movie you suggested.

অবশেষে তোমার সাজেস্ট করা সিনেমাটা দেখার **মুডে আছি**।

If you're not in the mood to talk, that's okay.
