本、記事、論文などが出版のために承認され、現在印刷や準備中で、まだ一般には公開されていないことを表します。

主に学術や出版の場面で使われます。「in press」は文献リストなどで出版前の正式承認済みのものに使います。

Examples

The article is in press and will be published next month.
