指在很短时间内连续说完或做完某事，中间不喘气。通常描述某人说话很快，想法很多地表达出来。

口语表达，常与“说”、“背诵”、“做”等动词搭配。强调快速且不间断。不要和“in the same breath”混淆，后者意思不同。
