Definition

障害とは、物事の進行を遅らせたり難しくしたりするものを指し、例えば壁や妨げなどがあります。

主にフォーマルや学術的な文脈で使われます。物理的、法的障害のほか、発話障害（speech impediment）にも使われます。日常会話ではあまり使わない言葉です。
