讓某人進入類似催眠的狀態,通常使他們非常放鬆並容易接受建議,常透過溫和的語言或重複的動作來達到。
Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))
多用於醫學或正式場合,常與“by”連用。不僅可指真正的催眠,也可指某物十分吸引人(如'I was hypnotised by the music'指被音樂吸引住)。不要和“mesmerize”(著迷)混淆。
