Definition

समय बचाने या देर हो जाने की वजह से कुछ जल्दी-जल्दी करना या तेज़ी से आगे बढ़ना।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अक्सर 'is/are' के साथ ('she is hurrying') आता है। इसमें जल्दबाज़ी की भावना होती है लेकिन यह 'rushing' जितना तेज़ नहीं। प्रायः 'to' के साथ ('hurrying to work') होता है।
