Definition

榴弾砲は、大きな砲弾を高く遠くまで発射できる軍用の大型火砲で、直接見えない目標にも砲撃するために使われます。

「榴弾砲」は軍事や兵器、歴史の話で使われる専門的な用語です。日常会話ではあまり登場しません。「カノン砲」（長い砲身）や「迫撃砲」（もっと角度が急な短い砲）と混同しないようにしましょう。
