Definition

'हॉल' एक बड़ा कमरा या गलियारा होता है, जो इमारत में बैठकों, कार्यक्रमों या मुख्य प्रवेश क्षेत्र के रूप में इस्तेमाल होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

"Hall" का इस्तेमाल बड़े समारोह कक्ष, गलियारे ('down the hall'), या प्रवेश क्षेत्र के लिए किया जा सकता है। ब्रिटिश अंग्रेज़ी में इसे छात्रावास (student hall) के लिए भी कहते हैं। इसे 'hole' (छेद) या 'haul' (खींचना) से न मिलाएँ।
