隠す教えない

Definition

誰かに価値のある情報や物を、期待されているのにわざと教えない・分け与えないこと。

くだけた表現で、何かを共有すべきなのに隠している時に使う。例えば「Don't hold out on me」は「私に隠さないで」という意味で使われる。友達同士でよく使う。

Don't hold out on your friends if you have good news.

いいニュースがあるなら、友達に**隠さないで**ね。
