पहाड़ी के किनारे या ढलान; यानी वह जगह जो ऊपर या नीचे जाती है, न कि पहाड़ी की चोटी या नीचे की भूमि।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

आम तौर पर प्राकृतिक दृश्यों के लिए बहुवचन में प्रयोग होता है। सामान्य संयोजन: 'तेज़ ढलान वाली पहाड़ियाँ', 'हरी पहाड़ियाँ'। केवल ढलान, न कि ऊपर-नीचे। इसे 'पहाड़' से न मिलाएँ।
