Definition

পাহাড়ের উপরের এবং নিচের অংশ বাদে মাঝখানের যে ঢালু বা পাশে অংশ থাকে, সেটাকেই বোঝায়। সাধারণত পাহাড়ের খাড়া বা নরম ঢাল।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

সাধারণত বহুবচনে বাতায় landscapes-এর জন্য। 'steep hillsides', 'green hillsides', 'vineyards on hillsides' - এর মত কথায় ব্যবহৃত হয়। শুধু ঢাল বোঝাতে— চূড়া বা নিচে নয়।
