ヘルニエーションとは、臓器や組織が本来あるべき筋肉や組織の隙間から突出する状態で、痛みや違和感を引き起こすことがあります。

医療現場で使われる専門用語で、主に「椎間板ヘルニエーション」「腹部ヘルニエーション」などと一緒に使われます。「ヘルニア」とは異なり、飛び出す現象自体を指します。
