Definition

乾杯や祝福のためにグラスを上げる時に使う表現です。相手や出来事の幸せや成功を願う意味があります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

お祝いの場や仲間同士で使います。「〜に乾杯」の後は必ず誰かや何かのため、と続きます。フォーマルな場や書き言葉では使いません。
