やじとは、公の場で話者やパフォーマーに対して失礼な発言や冗談、侮辱などを投げかけて邪魔をする行為です。

主にコメディや政治演説、ライブなどで使われます。やじは単なる質問と違い、話者を困らせたり妨害したりする目的が強いです。否定的なニュアンスがあります。
