用来形容听力有障碍但不是完全失聪的人。通常指部分听力丧失，常因年龄或健康问题造成。
Usage Notes (Chinese (Simplified))
比“聋”更委婉、正式，多用来指老年人或医学场合。常说“is hard of hearing”或“someone is hard of hearing”，而不是“a hard of hearing”。避免作名词用。
