物の上部が何かに取り付けられ、下部が自由にぶらぶらしている状態。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に物理的にぶら下がっている場合に使う。'hang from the ceiling'や'hang from a tree'のような表現でよく使われる。「hang on」や「hang over」とは意味が異なる。
