Ráfagas repentinas y fuertes de viento que soplan durante poco tiempo. El término se usa principalmente para describir el clima.

La palabra "gusts" suele ir con "wind" ("gusts of wind"). Es más específica y técnica que solo decir "windy". En plural, indica varios soplos o ráfagas, común en pronósticos. No se usa para líquidos ni situaciones generales, solo para el aire.
