짧은 순간 갑자기 강하게 불었다가 잦아드는 바람을 뜻합니다.

주로 일기예보 등에서 사용하며, 'winds gusting to~', 'up to~' 같은 표현과 함께 씁니다. 지속적인 바람이 아니라 순간적으로 세게 부는 바람에만 사용합니다.
